MEASURES YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM'S CURRENT REACTION TO FOODS
Your immune system consists of White Blood Cells and billions of Bacteria from your large intestines.
They defend your body from bad guys, like a virus/bacteria/fungi/parasites, by using antibodies, which are like red post its that say "Dangerous, please kill" on them, and whatever has an antibody on it, will be attacked and killed by a member of your immune system.
WHY THIS TEST CAN'T BE USED FOR TOXIC FOODS
1. One unfortunate thing is, remember, your system can mess up sometimes and put antibodies on the wrong items, including food and even your own organs like it did with me and my systemic Lupus, an autoimmune disease.
2. Another bad thing, if you have a food with high antibodies and avoid it for some time, when you retest, now antibody status is low...because you are no longer eating something to put antibodies on...so which is right?
High Antibodies=Avoid Food
Low Antibodies=Eat All You Want
3. In my case, when I ate any kind of rice, I got arthritis immediately, but rice never showed up on ANY food sensitivity tests. That is because my real intolerant food was meat and once I removed it, rice was no longer an issue.
FOOD SENSITIVITY/ALLERGY and THE BLOOD TYPE DIET, ARE BEST TO SEE HOW YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM IS REACTING TO FOODS RIGHT NOW.
They should not be used to determine toxic foods because there is too much variability.
These are two different tests that measure very different things and should be used for their specific abilities.
Like trying to compare apples and oranges, yes, they are both fruit but VERY distinct.
